ED YOUMANS wins the 422 ALLSTARS Championship

Ed Youmans driving the Don Nicholson clone 1964 Mercury Comet scored the 2011 422 Allstars Nostalgia Super Stock title
as part of the nine race event series. Youmans has been close to the title finishing in the number two spot in 2009 and 2010.
Congratulations to Ed and the entire team on their winning effort.

2011 Has a few New Twists

Race 1 wasn't our day, unload just 4 cars and load them back in the truck after the first round.  Something
new this season, Pete "Lucky" Luciano was there to pilot the duck.  Race 2 at Numidia, postponed 2 weeks
for rain looked a lot better.  Anthony Papas dusted off the T-bolt with backup motor but with no setup runs
he just wasn't dialed in enough to go past the first round.  Bob Fort took the Duke into the third round.  Then
there was Ed Youmans, the man was on his game this time and left the track tie for first in the points race.
He took out Steve McBlane's '65 Nicholson Comet in a spectacular all Mercury, all Dyno Don final.  See Dyno

Super Stock Reunion 2011 at Beaver Springs

What a great day!!!  54 Nostalgia super stockers.  Now that is a race.  In the end 422 Allstars competitor
Dave stubbs took home the gold over Chris Baum in a tight final.  Jay Zolko made a guest appearance to
drive The Duck once again.  Quickest ET of the day gave him the honor of match racing with Dick Estevez.
